Sport in the Spotlight: Netball

Netball is a fantastic invasion game and according to the sport’s international governing body, World Netball, it is played by more than 20 million people in more than 80 countries. Despite what stereotypes and common myths, Netball is played globally by both male and females.

A new strategy headed up by England Netball is the introduction of Bee Netball. Bee Netball is for children under 11 years old and offers the perfect way to get children out on the court for the first time.

Bees themselves exemplify many of the values that netball instils; they’re active, hardworking, have a real sense of belonging and that’s exactly what we hope all our very own Bees (the young players) develop as they are introduced to the great sport of netball.
